Always Confession

I do believe that confession should be at the forefront of our minds as Catholics and anyone preparing or interested in becoming Catholic. They say a problem halved is a problem shared, however confession is an admission of guilt on your conscience to a Catholic priest who has the ability to give you absolution. What a relief! (Remembering you are sorry and do better). Saint Padre Pio among other Saints and Popes say it is good to go weekly. It wakes you up to the direction you are going, if you put it off you are most likely going in the wrong way.

Confessing your sins means the things that were weighted in your conscience are no longer there because Jesus through the priest has cut the bond of those sins confessed. How could it be Jesus? We believe in a God who is love and mercy above all his works. I liked what Pope Francis said “When does God take offence? When you go to ask Him for forgiveness? No, never. God suffers when we think He can't forgive us, because it is like telling Him, 'You are weak in love!' Instead, God rejoices in forgiving us, every time. When He raises us up, He believes in us as He did the first time, He does not get discouraged.”
